Young at Heart is a group of senior adults that usually meets on the first Thursday of each month at noon for a luncheon. The exceptions to meeting on the first Thursday are January and July. Often, they won’t meet until the second Thursday in January to allow everyone time to recover from the holiday rush. In July, they do not meet. April through November, they meet in the church fellowship hall for potluck luncheons. December through March, they meet at local restaurants for lunch. Mostly, this is a time of fellowship but there is also a planned program most months. Local choirs, elected officials, organizations that assist senior adults, and missionaries are some of the examples of past program participants.
